when is your spring break?

Post by DnD »

We are starting to plan a trip for next March or April and trying to get an idea of when it will be busy.

If I recall the NE has break around Easter, is that usually the week before or after?

Here in Wisconsin it ranges from a week before Easter to the week after. (For elementary/high schools/and the UW-system)

U-Michigan-Ann Arbor, it's in February. (I only know this 'cause that's where my daughter will be going to school).

Looks like "Spring Break" is from February to May!

In Northern VA its typically the week prior to Easter, but other parts of VA it is the week after Easter. For us its going to be March 26 - April 2, 2010.

I would say the majority who travel would be going within the two weeks of March 27 - April 11.

In Louisiana ,it depends on the school district. Some take the week before and others take the week after.

Oh my, in Texas it's usually the second or third week of March. This year, for some strange reason, it was the first week of March :?

Thanks everyone for the info. We were planning on going in the offseason but with all these reports of mosquitos on the rampage, may be worth the extra money to go earlier.

In Oregon, break is usually the 3 week of March.
