First Painkiller

Post by KTinTX »

Well, this time of day in exactly 3 weeks I should be on St. John. I figured I better see what all the hype is about, so I just forum searched the 411-2 recipe that is the 'standard' for homemade painkillers and mixed up my first one.

Sipping as I type, I can definitely see me spending some cash on these in three weeks! I look forward to trying the ones at Soggy Dollar so I can compare and copy if needed!

This forum has been awesome in helping me plan this trip, so....Cheers to You!

Try Foxy's, too. Very cool place. Short taxi/ medium walk from Soggy Dollar.

I don't think I've ever had a Painkiller in the islands that I didn't like...But the best for me is definitely at the Soggy Dollar!

Even if you aren't crazy about the first one have three or four more and you will be! :D

I had a lot of Painkillers on our recent trip and I have to agree that the Soggy Dollar makes the best! :D

Don't forget to have one at Magens Bay Bar if you get there. They make a "killer" Painkiller!

Everything tastes better at the Soggy Dollar. They could serve sh!t on a stick and we'd all be like "hmmn...not sure I'd order it again, but its pretty flavorful." :D

Definitely, Soggy Dollar has the best Painkillers. That said we had a Guavaberry mango Painkiller at Skinny Leg's that was excellent!! It was the special that day. Have a great vacation!
Going "home" again October 26th!

IMHO everything tastes better down there. I don't care whether it's a burger, steak, fish....I'm normally just so friggin' happy to be there they could put the sole of a shoe on a plate and as long as I have a tasty cocktail to wash it down with, I'd eat it..
