Just wanted to share...

Post by mcdomzal »

Just wanted to share (ok, I'll be honest) brag a little about my son, Ryan. He was awarded the highest scholarship from his high school band last night. He plays the sax and is graduating on Sunday. We are so proud of him that I just wanted to share! :) For those of you meeting at the Beach bar on 6/21, he'll be with us as the trip is his graduation present. Too bad he can't bring his sax with him to jam with the band! JK!

Thanks for indulging a proud and sentimental mom.

How wonderful. I have band kid too, but we don't do too much bragging around here. Does this mean a big, fat scholorship to the college of his choice??

Thanks for the well wishes. The scholarship is only for $750. It really wasn't about the $$ as much as it was the honor of receiving it.

Looking forward to meeting you, too, Gromit!

That is so awesome! Congrats!!! I know how proud you feel. I felt the same way when our daughter graduated with honors and an acedemic scholorship. I sat in the audience and probably cried the whole time. Her graduation trip was to STJ too and it was a blast! Tell him way to go for us!!!
