As a former cat owner/companion, the bad news is that the cat pee has most likely soaked through the carpet and into the floor-boards. Were you to have another pet, they will most likely smell it, and try to cover the smell with their own stink.
Maybe that's what happened to begin with due to a former pet.
Either that, or stop feeding "said feline" beer bongs.
Bummer, all the same.

1. Lock cat in the laundry room with enough food and water for 14 days.
2. Pack 1 swim suit, 3 pair underwear, 2 pair shorts, 1 pair sandals into carry-on bag.
3. Contact airline of choice.
4. Call taxi to take you to airport.
5. Upon arrival at STT drink complimentary rum punch.
6. Take your choice of ferry to STJ.
7. Stop at Beach Bar for Painkiller.
8. Hike to Saloman beach.
9. What cat?

If this is a true post, I'll answer it.
I was once taking home a cat from a vet who did not like the cage and was very very nervous in the back seat. He had just gotten fixed and was in the cat carrier in the back seat.
I'm driving down this road and somebody stops in front of me and the cat cage goes flying. The cat ended up peeing in his cage and it went all over my rugs and my seats in the back.
A friend recommended Nature's Miracle. It comes in a powder form and a spray form.
I took the powder that she gave me and it took a couple times, but I sprinkled it heavily all over the car and let it sit. Then I vacuumed it up. I repeated it 3 times.
No pee smell. I swear buy it because cat pee is a very difficult smell to get rid of, especially in the summer.
Good luck!

I second the Nature's Miracle suggestion...that stuff is amazingly good at getting rid of cat urine smell.

OK, I just found this same post by the same person on another site I go to. It's their first post there too, and was posted 10 minutes before they posted here. Weird....
Maybe it's a two part spam post, and they'll come back later to tell us what product worked for them, with a link, of course.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
