I am wondering if any of you girls who favor Athleta can tell me how the sizing runs. Is an XL like a Target/Old Navy XL or more like a J. Crew XL (which is really a medium)?
My friend orders from there. She's a small and her swimsuit ran true to size. I would order one of each and return one. I did that with Land's End because I wasn't sure.
In my experience, they are true to size in swimsuits more than anything else. For instance, I wear a medium in their swimsuits (top and bottom) but as for shorts and capris, in some cases I'd need a large, or what might be equivalent to a 10. So yes, more like JCrew than ON.
I love Athleta, and yes I agree they run true to size. I've discovered if you go through the effort of using any sites measurement guide/size chart, you can order exactly what you need...it does work, except for clothes at Vic Secret which seem to run microscopic in my experience...
