WOO HOO 8 Tuff Miles Trip (Take 2) booked!!

Since doing 8 Tuff Miles in 2008 and finishing near the end, Hubby and I want to try it again!! $258 (+tax) Ewr to Stt in Feburary!! CANT WAIT! Having the next trip, just puts a calm over me and keeps me sane! Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Good for you. We arrived either the day of or the day after the race 3 years in a row. My mom (tag a long babysitter) really wants to do the race.

I told her if timing ever works out for us, I will dress her grandson in a shirt that says "My Nana is running the 8 Tough Miles" and we will stand at the finish line with drinks in hand.

wow thats a good price for airfare,is that continental, do you know of a good place to stay if doing the race for a extended weekend,good luck n the race, i just did the power swim and would highly recomend it for serious and casuals swimers

Well, I mean, I finished, BUT I was the third to last female to finish the ENTIRE race!!! Finish Party was almost over and there is about two miles of cars trying to get to Coral Bay on your tail!! People in cars actually try and pass the people at the end of the race! They put a police vehicle behind the last person and they were all out of Medium race shirts, so I am avenging my crappy finish and in 2010 I want to get my Medium race shirt!! Medium race shirt 2010 or BUST!!! We'll see... the training has begun!!
