October 15 - Hurricane Thanksgiving Day

I saw this listed on a USVI on-line calendar somewhere.

Is this something that is widely celebrated on the islands?

Since this is the day we arrive I was just wondering if we're likely to be greeted with drinks for which New Orleans is famous for, and/or Neil Young music. :wink:
