Terry wrote: CAG, Awesome report and wonderful pics. Remarkable get-along-group! You are so fortunate.
Sorry to say I can relate to waking up with a bruise and wondering what embarassing thing I did to get it!
I thought I noticed one on K's leg also. Poor thing!
Sounds like deck fluff was alittle hard on herself!
You should have seen the one on her arm!! They stayed with us on Sun. 5/3 and it was really "purty" by then!
Sometimes those poles fight back, right Kellyanna??

First of all, thanks everyone for your kind words!
Terry - We all came home with an assortment of bruises & scabs from bumping around on the boat. Sydney told us those bruises are called "boat bites". Rick's last scab is falling off and he said he was sad to see it go. It's like his Red Badge of Courage from the trip! LOL!

Bev, I was told that normal poles don't have a piece of fiberglass boat in the middle stopping the momentum.

OMG, I am such a banana. I'd be a mess after a week on a boat! Just look at me long enough and I get a bruise.

Marcia, the bruises were worth it!
Ok, I could have done without the self-inflicted one on my arm.

I just saved a bunch of your pictures. I love them and your reports! Ivan's is probably my favorite place on earth! I'm going to have to sail some day. It sounds like a great way to go!

I never understood the appeal of a boat trip until reading your report. The views must be amazing!

I'm getting excited just thinking about it! Our charter runs Dec 9 to Dec 16, with a sleep aboard on Dec 8th.
