I'm going to venice!!

Had to share. Compeletly out of the blue, I'm going on Wednsday for 5 days. My sister is going on business. Had palnned to take her whole family. Her son broke his arm yesterday and doc says no travel. Hubby then has to stay home and since this is a business trip she needs an extra hand for the 9 year old, my favorite neice! So I get to show my niece the sights and sounds and my sister pays for it all!!!!!

Pretty cool huh. So I have a ticker after all :-)

Venice is so interesting, and I think it's just the right time in the year to visit. I wish you a nice trip and I'm looking forward to read about your experiences.

The trip for my sister is in preparation for the opening of the Venice Biennalle, so it will be quite exciting but she will be very busy so I will on my own alot with my neice. Sis is an owner of a gallery here in NY and one of her artists is being honored with the Biennalle's top prize this year. There will be at least one really fancy party to attend. I need to go shopping :-)

I promise to file a report on my return.
