I believe they spray at Caneel as there were none there on Sunday but they were still horrible at Maho yesterday :( Saltpond was mosquito free on Monday until about 3:30pm - great breeze :)

Deet free...............soon come :)

The morning after our return home, my wife watched one fly out of her suitcase. Honest!

Got back from 8 nights at Maho on Thursday. I keep thinking I see skeeters and expected some to fly out when I opened my backpack! I hope the skeeters die down soon. In a way I'm glad for the skeeters because they forced me to explore the south shore more- love Salt Pond bay and will stay at Estate Concordia next trip. My best advice for the skeeters (especially if you're going to Maho) is to bring lightweight long sleeve shirts and pants- white if you have them. If I were going today I would bring all white shirts and light colored shorts/pants. The mosquitos REALLY seem to like dark colors. I was wishing for my mosquito head net. Hopefully none of this will be necessary soon.

They're bad in DC! We had the Thermacell going in the back yard yesterday.
