Verify Flights - Delta FF Miles!

Just thought I would caution any travelers using Frequent Flier miles - I was checking my flights with an upcoming Daytona trip and decided to also check my flights using Frequent Flier miles for my trip this fall to Ft. Lauderdale and then St. John - my Delta Confirmation # was showing as NG - so I called the 800 number and guess what? They said my flights had been cancelled! I don't know if I did something wrong or what - but I did not knowingly cancel the flights for husband and myself. So anyway, after about 20 anxious minutes, Delta did re-instate my original flights, no charge. I can only imagine what I would have done showing up at the ticket counter October 25th only to be told I didn't have a flight! So anyway - lesson learned - please check your flights!

They did the same to me. Like you they didn't bother to tell me but they were kind enough to do so 10 months in advance.

So I had to get my miles back and rebook on USAir. The same week Delta canceled us Caneel informed us that they would be closed for the first 4 days of our stay. It was interesting.

I am on Delta next week using FF miles. I just checked and everything seems to be ok. It makes me nervous to hear stories like this. I am also using points to stay at the Weston and everything seems to be ok. Never hurts to check.
