I just realized

Post by C Urchin »

I just realized my ticker says 10 days to go! I haven't even made one plan besides where we're staying and reserving the rental car.

I'm feeling guilty for not having every day planned out and I'm always afraid I'm going to forget to do something (or see something) while there. Not that I'm not flexible and plans don't always pan out but just feel the need to plan something . . . anything.

What is the one thing you have to do while on STJ or STT?

I always plan at least one boat trip, usually to Jost and I always go to Shipwreck at least a couple of times.

Gert out on the water. It's a must.

We always go with the same itinerary:

1. Check to see if Inner Visions is playing anywhere on the island

2. If they are, go to see them

The rest of the schedule is open, to be made up as we go along and changed on a whim. We don't even like to make dinner reservations so that we don't have to pay that much attention to time.

The number one thing you must do while on island:

Chillax 8)

Oh and a lobster roll at the Tourist Trap or Burger at Skinny legs doesn't hurt 8)

We have to make a pilgramige trip to Trunk. It is the place that first led us to St John on a cruise stop and was the reason that we wanted to return. We always make sure that we at least walk that beach each trip.

Don't be to hard on yourself we never plan anything. We do know whats avalable on Island but really just go with the flow. We always have lots of ideas but really never hard details of must do's just take it day by day and see were it leads. Our life is to structured in the real world for us to plan, enjoy Island Time! Ok ya asked for something Go down to the Beach Bar and meet some forum peeps on Sunday you will be happy with the friends you make. Oh eat at Uncle Joes at least once just follow your nose.
