Chocolate Hole Sail Boat on Rocks
Chocolate Hole Sail Boat on Rocks
As reported by a few eagle-eyed cam watchers earlier, there is a 42' Beneteau on the rocks.
She came loose this AM just before 10. Our neighbor spotted it and put the locals into action. By the time they could get out to her, she was already on the rocks. Sea tow came from St. Thomas and attempted to move her but it was just too dangerous where she was sitting.
Now, sadly, the tide has moved in and is pounding her against the rocks. As you can see, she is wedged in there.

Sadly, another boat capsized on Tuesday and is floating inverted in Chocolate Hole too. You can see the doomed sailboat right behind the capsized boat in this picture from yesterday.

Been a rough week for boats.

This guy broke lose last year as well and Sea Tow towed it back to St Thomas then. The guy lives in Europe I beleive and the boat sits unattended for long periods. Not realy smart. I hope it's not as bad as it looks. I don't think it made it to the beach last time.
