I just read this on the St. John Tradewinds. I will be on the island in two weeks and this makes me happy.

V.I. Police Department officers on St. John arrested 18-year-old Jah-Wada Jones and 19-year-old Lawrence Powell Jr. and charged them with second degree robbery, third degree assault and grand larceny in connection with the April 12 robbery of a 55-year-old visitor to the island.

I know there was a post about some people feeling a little unsafe.

Glad to hear it. Does my memory fail me? I thought the man was beaten by 3 guys but they've arrested 2. I guess I'll have to go back and reread the story.

Glad they got 'em.
Crime will never sleep, but it'll certainly help ME to when on island knowing that the PD is being as diligent as possible.
I realize that everything happens in slow-motion down there, but
I'll take any/all good news as frequently as possible.
