Peter Muilenburg on Guy Benjamin

Post by Lex »

The word "local" is sometimes used in different ways on the forum. Peter Muilenburg is a "local", but Guy Benjamin is a " real local."

Guy Benjamin's book is a worthwhile read. I was lucky enough to get the last copy on the NPS shelf last time we departed and I finished it before the plane landed.

I have re-read it several times since.

We met Mr. Benjamin yesterday....Theoradora, Mooie's daughter, who is also Mr. Benjamin's god-daughter, told us to go out to his house & go see him. We did & what an honor to have spent time with him in his house. We had such a great conversation & he read a poem he had written to us. Amazing time spent with such a local legend...we were truly uplifted by such a precious gentleman.
