Frenchmans Reef to Trunk Bay

Post by Sld323 »

Any suggestions on private water taxis from Marriott dock to Trunk Bay. I don't want the hassle of going to Red Hook - taxis - ferrys and all that stuff

Here is a water taxi service:

I'm not sure they'll get you to Trunk Bay, but they can take you to St. John. I personally think the public ferries are kind of fun, but thats just my view. Another option is rent a powerboat with captain for the day.

The Marriot has a shuttle, they can't call it a water taxi for legal reasons that will take you to the waterfront in downtown. From there it is a simple ride from the downtown ferry to Cruz Bay then a cab ride from there. Even a private water taxi is going to drop you off in Cruz Bay.
The other option would be to hire a private charter boat to do the trip. Like Lion In Da Sun or Palm Tree and make a day trip out of it. You could see several north shore beaches that way and ultimately it maybe less than a water taxi.
