Shipwreck Landing...Pat,etc.

Post by bevm »

We spend a lot of time at Shipwreck. It continues to be our favorite place. The staff is friendly (Erin, Sharon, Karen, Donna, etc.)and the food is ALWAYS consistently great! We have never had a bad lunch or dinner here..If you haven't tried Shipwreck Landing on past trips, please go the next time you're here. You won't be disappointed!!

ShipwreckPat: Thanks for the drinks Pat and the great conversation about how you and Dennis ended up on STJ. You guys are great! She didn't want her picture taken because she'd been in the kitchen all day but I insisted...She looks great I think!!

Margo, Rick, Kellee, Steve and I on 5/3. We all had great food! Steve had his favorite strip steak and I had the Balsamic Salmon Special...DELICIOUS!! It wouldn't be an STJ vacation without Shipwreck!!! Love it!!

My wife and I were in St John last year and we eat dinner at Shipwreck 3 times. I agree with above that the food is really good and the drinks very well made.
It's great and we will be back in St John this saturday.

Yes we are, but we're heading home tomorrow after two great weeks. It's been a blast!

The best meal I had on the island in March was at Shipwreck. I'm looking forward to going back again several times in June while we're there. I'll look for you, Pat, when I'm there and introduce myself. See you soon. :D

pj and I love Shipwreck and always manage to make it over to Coral Bay just around lunchtime. As bev said, the food is consistently great, the service is great and the location is comfortable. We always look forward to a trip back to Shipwreck.

Shipwreck is tops on my Places for Merriment List! Can't wait to get back there...

Last time I was on island, it was high season and they had music on Wed night. Is anything similar still going on?

I'm intrigued by Shipwreck and want to know more. I've heard several people on here sing its praises. As with any restaurant, I've also seen a number of people say they were disappointed. Particularly, I remember a string of posts about a guy who was supposedly hanging around bothering customers. If I remember, he had a machete or a gun?? Was this simply an isolated event, or has Shipwreck had this type of problem more than once?

Definitely an isolated incident! Shipwreck is one of my top places for relaxing, eating, drinking and music. The Coral Bay atmosphere is alive at Shipwreck.

I love Shipwreck too! We've only been for lunch though. The times we've tried to go for dinner, it's been too packed!

I think they have the best mahi mahi sandwich on the island.

Fowst - I think we like it most because of the relaxed atmosphere. It is somewhat isolated and quiet. It has a nice view of the bay and the bay has very little activity. The two times we have been there we enjoyed the food.
