But this IS my hobby!!! :)

I never really notice the post count.

I think this also has alot to do with our different personalities. Extroverts post alot, introverts don't post as much, just like "real" life!

I am guilty of not responding to posts. We are really slow here at work so that gives me time to read the forum. I try not to respond to posts while at work because I don't know if they track that kind of thing. Even though I just did it! Oh well.

OK, I think this is going to be my 1000 post. I must need to get a life too! I am guilty most of the time of commenting on the TR at the end after all of the installments. That, and I have a really warped sense of humor, so I try to keep my trap shut sometimes  .

I really was not looking for people to commet on my TR or anyone elses for that matter. It was just an observation I made when I was looking at the forum and the difference between views and replies was staggering.

If people care about post counts they really need a vacation. I recommend a week on STJ with an IV of Cruzan, a warm beach, and the assistance of a loved one to remove the stick from your butt

Let us take a look. Yes, got laid off few weeks ago. My full time job during the day is massive job searching on the net, reading and posting on VIOL, and hitting the spice cam every ten minutes. Yes, I need a life.

Should I worry about that? NO!

Heck, I’ll be on the rock next Friday. That is my priority right now! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Guilty as well, I think my biggest problem is getting in to much of a hurry and basically doing headline reading and moving on....The world is moving to bloody fast I think. Anyway, I will slow it down and truly read more of these and respond as often as time allows because lets face it anyone who takes the time to share a piece of their world deserves to know that it was appreciated. And I really do believe that all reports are great reports just by virtue of the time spent to do them.

Just a thought: could it be that we tend to read the trip reports several times, just to be able to see the photos again and also read what others have commenting?

At least I do that. Even if I have read a TR before, I can go back and see what all the replies says. And every time you read it again, it counts.

I read every TR - I love them, and especially the photos. Sometimes if a TR is very long and without photos, that's the only time I might not read all of it. And that's mostly depending on that it takes me a little more time to read, since English is not my first language.

So, keep the TR's coming!
