There's 8 of us traveling to St. John for 8 nights on 11/26. We booked Vistaero. Very excited and can't wait!

Great news!!! We are coming in on 'Turkey Day' too. I have to get my ticker going.

Are you using USAir through Charlotte?

Only one of the 8 has been there and that was 25 or more years ago.

Pam,

You (and your group) will love love love St John!

It helps me recharge every year. Thanksgiving time is great on island. The water is still warm and it's low season ... so villa prices are lower.

Have fun planning !!!

"Still warm"? It never occurred to me that the ocean might be cool. Hey, we're from Maine so you can imagine anything will be warm to us!

We land at 2 and are renting cars in STT. Peggy at Destination St. John said we can expect to be at the villa around 5 or 5:30 Thanksgiving evening. We're hoping we'll still be able to get to a store for provisions. She is also sending me a list of caters in case we want to have a dinner at the villa that night. Any tips on what to bring with us? Peggy suggested coffee since it's so expensive. Should we be buying booze on STT before we come over on the car barge? [what drinking problem?]

Any other tips? Bring 'em on!
Pam
