What's better than.....

...floating in Cinnamon Bay watching turtles & eating lunch? Nuttin!!!

Has anyone experienced getting stung in the water this week? Syd, Kellee & I got stung at the Caves & at Waterlemon. We couldn't see ANYTHING, and the stings were little and went away really fast. No stings at Cinnamon.

The water was pretty ugly at the beginning of the week because of the Algae bloom...murky & green!! But the beautiful turquoise is returning and the water is clearing up, so it's all good!

Having a wonderful time, wish you were here!! :D

P.S. I've taken over 1000 pictures so far!!! YIKES!!

It's amazing how many pictures you end up taking when you're on the island. We took almost 2000 pictures on our trip.

You all look like you're having a blast! I can't wait to see more pics and a TR.....

Have fun, enjoy.....

Someone is going to be offended that anyone would take so many pictures. They might say "just enjoy the experience."

To which I say "I do, every time I look at my pics."

Margo...that's ALL the pics you have taken so far??? Didn't you take more last time? You KNOW you are gonna have fun editing them all too

As for the being stung without seeing anything, I know in the Gulf off of Florida that will happen due to broken up pieces of jellyfish and sea nettles. That may be what's occuring.

You know I wish I was there with ya'll!

I am getting more and more sold on the boat idea. It just sounds too perfect. I'm so glad it's all you hoped for.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing jellyfish stings lately. We didn't see a single jellyfish when we were there a few months back. Hubby got stung BAD in Hawaii and I'm a little worried about the current conditions.

I got stung a couple times at Waterlemon last week. Hurt for about 15 or 20 minutes. Just gotta keep a lookout for the little buggers and swim away. They seemed to hang in packs. Good luck!
