St. Thomas or St. Johns with kids

If you really want to be on the beach, there are some nice villas right on Great Cruz Bay, the same bay as the Westin. Splash, Gull Cottage, Viridian Garden,Beach Villa. It is added fun for the kids because they can swim over or raft over to the Westin and play on their water toys ( trampoline, climbing iceberg) and also make some friends with other kids over there. We stayed at Beach Villa 2 times and the kids loved kayaking right from the villa. You can kayak all around Great Cruz Bay. Or you can get a dingy right there at the Westin. Just gives the kids some other options for fun! You don't have the beautiful views like you would from the hills, but it is very nice being on water and watching the boats come and go. Not better...just different.

Thanks Suzi - This is such a hard choice between Sapphire Beach on STT or great views on STJ without beach or beach on STJ. Right now I am leaning toward the great views and then driving to the different beaches but it will probably change as I look thru more reviews from people. We will not be going till next July so have lots of time. Thanks again!
