I'll be right there with you, Boston Mike. It's a fun time - we attended 2 years ago and Heinken sponsored it. We have a great heiny backpack cooler that we won that day.

Sounds like a plan. We are heading out that morning to get our jeep. Have some breakfast and park the jeep back up at Lavender. Head back down for the minimal.

I can't wait to see this one. Should be a good time.

Captain Fatty Goodlander has a good story about these kinds of events and the "Virgin Islands Snot Club" from back in the day.

His book "Seadogs, Clowns and Gypsies” has some absolutely HILARIOUS, fall-out-of-your-dinghy and choke-on-your-own-snorkle sh!t in it.

Everytime I want to get in an island frame of mind I read this book and the short stories about his sailing antics.

STJ has along history of these kinds of great events and it's almost shameful if you DON'T sink!!

May 16th is our arrival day. Will probably be on the 3:00 ferry. Does anyone know if the regatta will still be going on by that time? I would love to see some of the boats.

Regatta sounds fun. I'll try to make the trek over from Coral Bay. Wish I was arriving in time to build a boat! :D

And Gromit, could you PLEASE stop recommending things for me to buy. The Forum is getting too expensive for me! :P

I'd do it if I had the time to build a boat. I arrive on the 15th. Should be on the 4 or 5 ferry. No time seeing I'll be throwing the bags on the bed and heading out for drinks as soon as we get there.

Now that sounds good Sun. I'll be the one with the Boston hat on backwards and the freaked looking wife after the ferry ride. See, she has this little thing about boats...I am sure we will need a drink.

Ok Boston Mike- I hope you end up on the same ferry as my friends. Otherwise, I'm going to have alot of drinks to consume. Wait...guess that's not a bad thing!

I will be the one with the Red Sox hat on forward and an armload of drinks...are you a painkiller or a beer kind of guy? :D

We are both beer type people. Throw a birthday candle in a can of Miller Lite for the wifey....

It looks like we may just miss the 4 ferry. It all depends on how it goes from the airport to the ferry. If we do, we both agree we will start the swilling down session at the bar where the ferry is while we wait for the 5.
