SIRIUS XM RADIO IN ST. THOMAS?
SIRIUS XM RADIO IN ST. THOMAS?
Does any get XM or Sirus signal in St. Thomas? Do u have it in your car, boat or home?
The signal is not great.
I got it on my sportster on St John by placing my antenna on the roof of the villa and pointing it at the satellites.
Here is the link to find out the location of the satellites during your stay...

Check it close to your date of departure. move the map until the intersection of the colored lines is on top of St. Thomas, and point your antenna accordingly.
From the angle of the sats, you may be out of luck if you are on the east side of the island, as the sats are low on the horizon at that longitude, and the rock may be in the way. I was lucky to be high up and on the west side of St John.
Remember, if you have internet access, you can always access the sirius internet stream on a laptop or computer. I know this is not ideal, and a laptop is a lot more to carry than a simple radio, but it's an idea. I have more than enough bandwidth using my iPhone 3g data connection, connected to my laptop to stream sirius at 128k
Hope this helps.

New update on this topic...SiriusXM has filed an application requesting special temporary authority to operate 20 repeaters in the commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
This should boost the reception of Sirius for most of the western leeward islands.
The catch is that the bands requested (2320-2332.5 mhz) are exclusively Sirius...not XM, so XM radio subscribers are still out of luck.
