Sunday after brunch

Post by jdw »

We are planning on eating brunch at Miss Lucy's during our next trip. Any suggestions on how to spend our afternoon before heading back to our villa in Fish Bay?

I love Sunday Brunch at Miss Lucy's - great food, music and an amazing view - you will love it.

My advice for the remainder of the day is go to Salt Pond. It's a great beach and you're already almost there anyway. After the beach, stop in Shipwreck, Island Blues or Skinny's for a post beach cocktail and then head back to Fish Bay.

Enjoy!

Or, if the lot at Salt Pond is too crowded, or if you are feeling really full and lazy from that delicious brunch and don't want to deal with the hike back up from the beach, drive a little further and check out Little Lameshur. It's a pretty, sandy beach, with adequate shade, decent snorkeling, and there's even some ruins you can check out.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I am sure we will be very full and very lazy!! We have never been to Little Lameshur - how do you get there from Miss Lucys?

follwo the road(107) past salt pond (beyond Miss Lucys) to the end--the road turns to dirt, then gets paved up a steep hill and back down, then unpaved, the first beach you come to (stay to the left at the fork--lest you go up to VIERS) will be big lameshur, little laneshure is just beyond that just after the entrance to the Yawzi point trail.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
