The Buffett Concert was GREAT!

Post by CariBert »

I don't know if I should put this here or onthe off topic thread, but the Buffett Concert was wild and CRAZY!!

In all of that craziness, we actually ran into Chooch and T!! I won't put their picture up unless they say it's O.K. But there was a lot of fun to be had there:

You haven't lived until you have Margaritas squirted into your mouth with a garden sprayer! Anyway, it just set up the mood for us in a couple of months! We are sooo ready to go and be on Island!

One parting shot!

I have lots more picts, but I'm not sure anybody wants to read a mini-trip report about a Buffett concert!

Phins Up!!

Hey, post away! I'd love a JB report. Looks like a really fun time :) . We had to practically endure a monsoon to see him in Sept '06.
Going "home" again October 26th!

Our fall Vegas trip is in the planing stages and when I looked the other night, lo-and-behold I saw that JB will play MGM Grand 2 dates in October.
Guess we'll see him there.

Hey Bert, we waited for our phone call during the concert to listen to a song. Did you forget about me? It's okay, I know you were having fun. We so wish we could've been there, but have to draw the line with expenses somewhere in these tough times. (We opted for Kenny Chesney on Orange Beach this year, instead, & what we would've spent there will pay for a daysail next month.) I do know one thing, Frisco knows how to throw a heck of a JB tailgate party. We had a blast there the past two years. Hopefully, we can make it next year, if JB comes back. Glad you had a good time. And, yes, I want to see more pics & read a report. Send it to my email address, if you need to.

Thursday night here in Raleigh...

I have my lawn seats. We're taking the 6 year old. It's her first show. I've warned her that she's going to see grown ups behaving very strangely.

Nope...didn't forget about you, I tried to call my sister but the drunks were louder than my phone, so I gave up! It's a tough choice between Chesney and Buffett......although I must say, more folks my age are at the Buffett concert!

Pianogrl....Clapton is good, too! Maybe not as drunk, but still a good time will be had, I'm sure!

Pipanale......I'll be listening on Margaritaville radio to the live broadcast! Yell something really loud and I'll listen for you! 6 years old, eh? Start em young, that's my motto!!

I'll be working on a report!
