Hey Jim so sorry to hear about your brother....
Don't worry about putting anything on our plates.
It's our choice to be here.
You need this outlet. Often times it's easier to share with others that aren't so personally involved. So you do what you have to do.

prayers and good thoughts going out for you and yours

Jim please don't worry about putting anything on this forum. It is no burden ever to send positive vibes, prayers and well wishes to someone who is such a presence here (or anyone for that matter).

I drew great comfort from this forum on an entirely personal matter a while back and I am still convinced all the love coming from around the world brought my miniest flip-flop into the world safe and sound.

This is an unusual (in a good way) and amazing group and please count me among though hoping for the best outcome for your family.

Yes Jim, we're all being supportive because we care about our forum friends. That's why we like to hang out here. Everyone is always supportive and willing to help out any way they can. There are great people here with collective big shoulders. Don't feel bad about venting....it's ok.
Still waiting to return to St. John!

High fever.
An unfounded infection that my Mom says the doctors can't find the origin of.
As much as I think he's in the best hands available, I've always hated hospitals.
They smell bad.
Lord, hear our prayer...
Yours-
Jimmy

"Lord hear our prayer". I am right with ya Jimmy.
YOU are NO burden...do not think that for one more second.
We are here for you...it might be difficult to swallow but this forum IS A FAMILY...and we CARE FOR EACH OTHER. Accept it and the love & hope will flow through you.

Do me a favor please. Tell us about your brother. I'd like a little info on the man that I am praying for. Tell us about some fun memories of "the brothers" I can't speak for everyone but I know I speak for most; we'd love to hear about him.

Hang in there buddy, hugs and kisses to you, Amy, your Mom, well the whole family. And thank you for keeping us in the loop so we can try to help.
xoxo
Jan

Just checking in again after the weekend and I'm sorry the news and progress isn't better.

I'm with Jan, I'd love to hear more about Paul, the good stuff, the good times, the brotherly stuff. I have two sons I can only HOPE grow up loving each other like you two seem to. If it's hard for you to reminisce right now, we certainly understand though.

Sending you all the best,
Jennifer
