New Chinese Restaurant??

This will be our 9th time to STJ, but 1st post on this forum. I have been reading these posts since January and am addicted to it! I find the trip reports interesting and all the information really helpful. We will post a trip report when we get back, but we do have a question for you all.....

We heard the new Chinese restaurant in Cruz Bay had a fire, does anyone know if it reopened yet? We usually get Chinese take out the first night there, after grocery shopping, wondering if we need to make alternate plans?

I stopped by for you today but there was no one their and no sign yet. It's cleaned up in side and I've heard they will reopen. I'm bumping this up so I can find out too. Anyone know?

Oops. BTW, its in the Lumberyard and called Lucky Pagoda. When are you coming?

we're arriving next Saturday, 4/25......thanks so much for checking, we've ordered from the Chinese restaurant above the Starfish in the past, and were disappointed to hear it's closed. I've seen mixed reviews on that one on trip advisor, but we always had good food there.

The Lucky Pagoda has reopened. The food is good!
They are closed on Saturdays.

OMG...closed on Saturdays...that's unusual, right? Glad to know they're back to business though!

StJohnRuth, we usually do our big food shopping the first day there (late on Saturday), and since we're staying mid island (Ajax peak), we like to do take out the first night, we have a large group with us......can you recommend something else for take out from Cruz Bay?

One other question, do you know how late Starfish Market or Dolphin Market is open on Saturday night?

I like to do Candies BBq for the first night we go and order then do our shopping and pick up when we are done.

We do a lot of take out from Cafe Roma. Huge portions and they carry out well.
