JVD ferry - roundtrip ticket question

Post by marruda »

Hello Everyone!
My first official thread posting. Lia and I are heading down in August to stay on STJ with 12 others. Some of us want to rip it up on JVD and are toying with the idea of taking the saturday morning ferry to JVD and taking the sunday morning ferry back to STJ. My question is: if you purchase a roundtrip ferry ticket is it only valid for that day? Thanks.
take care,
Mike

Last time we went (03/08) a round trip ticket consisted of 2 vouchers good for 1 way travel. Just don't loose the return voucher and you're good to go.

I too would like to know if this has changed.

Marruda, where are you thinking of staying on Jost? I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I wasn't sure if they would let us sleep in the hammock at the Soggy Dollar :D

skinnylegs,
No idea. Lia and I stayed on JVD in 2006 and we spent a night under the stars - quite magical. So I am not worried about spending the night. A hammock, a beach chair, or on the sand looking up at the stars - priceless.

take care,
Mike
