Beach Bar 5/24

I hesitate to start this because I'm not even sure we will make it but who will be around for this?
We will be traveling with newbies so not sure they will join but we are surely going to try.

Anyone else?

surely you mean make it to the beach bar and NOT make it to STJ.....your trip is not at risk of being cancelled.....right?

we won't be there (at least not right now---I am working on the Mr.....need a fix of island time wicked bad)
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

right! no cancellations here that I know of!
Funny, right now I have a really bum knee. I had been in PT for it and it was much improved but now not so much. But I'll be damned if it makes me cancel!

I won't be there (unfortunately) but hoist one for me! That's my birthday! If I was EXTREMELY lucky I would be with you. Enjoy -- newbies will love it! :D

Mary Beth- I will be there. I am lucky enough to be on island three Sundays in a row! Whoohoo!! Bring the newbies...I'm bringing mine! :D

Brenda- I don't think anyone that knows me would call me a 'social butterfly'...but I have decided to break out of my shell on this trip. One of those weird resolution things. I remember once, not so long ago, that I stood on the sidelines at the Beach Bar and watched everyone for an hour before I got up the liquid courage to say hello! :oops:

Mary Beth- of course, there is no better healing spot than STJ!! But I hope you feel better before then! :D

We will be there. I am a newbie, but looking forward to meeting some of the characters :shock: I have been reading on the forum.

mbw1024: sorry about the knee...I have had some kidney stone problems start up in the past few days...the first thing my wife told me (before she asked if I was OK) was that she was GOING to St. John and I better be well before we were supposed to leave...

If necessary, I will live on vicodin and liquid painkillers :D

We'll be there with three newbies! I am so excited about this trip! I still have over a month to wait and I am already having a hard time concentrating at work because I am planning, daydreaming etc. about being back on St John. May 23rd soon come!

anyone ever use eucalyptus oil? someone at work told me about it and I used it last night on my knee before bed. geez, I feel a LOT better today. if I keep slathering this stuff on I will be good to go!
I wonder if it works for kidney stones :roll:

Okay I have to defend myself here. I DID ask him if he was ok--well, alright it WAS after I told him I was going to St. John regardless. :roll: Can't wait to meet all my new beverage buddies.
