STT Airport Car Rental

My fiance and I will be staying on St John the first week of July, but we MUST rent our car from one of the bigger car rental agencies at the STT airport because as far as I've seen, no one on STJ will rent to drivers under 25. (I'm 21, fiance is 22)

Anyone have any experience or advice about the airport car rental companies?

I'm also curious about the car ferry from STT to STJ. Our flight doesn't land until 3:15pm...how likely are we to get our car and make it to the ferry before the last boat leaves?

Not only is this our first trip to STJ, but this is only the 3rd trip we've taken together, so we're really newbies! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We've used Budget several times and they've been fine. We've rented both a Jeep and Durango with them.

You should be fine getting in at 3:15p. Car pickup is right at the terminal and it's roughly 45min to Red Hook.
