The Official OT cocktail thread
I made these kaluha coladas on Friday evening. They taste like ice cream and have about 5,000 calories.

LOL! Doesn't sound right to me. Maybe you're supposed to drink the two tablespoons while you're mixing the drink. Sort of like a cocktail appetizer.California Girl wrote:Only 2 tablespoons of rum for 2 drinks?? Are you sure that's right??

2/3 cup cream of coconut
2 tbsp. rum (I had to use vodka)
3 cups ice
Blend til smooth. That's for two drinks.
Hmm...maybe it is actually 6,000 calories!
I made myself a mojito last night:

Marybeth, that's my dining room table. John picked it. Our house is kind of contemporary, furnishing wise, because that's what he likes, and it works well with my allergies (no carpets etc).
Plus, as you can see from the scratches, we let the kids do what they want while in our house, so we are not ready for "heirloom" furniture.
