Pianogrl, looks great! I know you'll enjoy the plates....every time you stop at a light, just look in your rearview mirror and watch the person behind you as they read your plate!! 9 out of 10 times they start to smile!
I sent "ST. JUSVI" back to be re-done. Apparently, sending back plates for a re-do is the DMV equivalent to telling a waiter to "give you just one more minute."
Waiting...and waiting....and waiting.....they never come back.
I am in Texas as well...any other 6 letter combo ideas? I really love island girl and tried to incorporate that in 6 letters but couldnt do it...closest i got was 7..ilndgrl...
I got an e-mail a few days ago that mine are in too. They are sitting in an buildiing in DT Houston about 3 blocks from my husbands office and he hasn't had time to get them. I oould get them myself, but it's an hour drive each way, so I'll wait.
Piano.........I love your plates and the holder thingy too. Awesome!!!
Thanks everyone!.....every time I go by the car in the garage I glance at them & it makes me smile (thinking about our beloved STJ!!)
The front plate doesn't have the plate holder on it so the front/back have a little different look..but..both convey my love for STJ.
I got my plates and I'll get a pic posted this weekend, when my son is home to help his helpless mom. I love them, but I'm waiting for someone to "get it". STJ is not too popular in my area, so it just may have to be my satisfaction.
All you guys inspired me with your writing of license plates. We got back from St. John 3 weeks ago and I was catching up on the board. Sorry to say I haven't posted my own trip report yet but it's coming! (Must still be on island time).
Luckily for New York we get 7 letters because I totally lack creativity. And luckily for me nobody else had picked this yet "STJ USVI" I marked to put the NYS emblem in the middle to hopefully let them know where the split is-I don't want what Vicki got
We've already started planning to go back in December-wish I could win the lottery and buy a place there. As soon as I get off the airplane it's like coming home.
