Beer on Island

Post by choochtex »

94 days until St. John....so now to start getting prepared for our first trip.

Tried searching but didn't really find an answer.

What should we expect to find in terms of beer (brands) at bars, restaurants and the stores?

I know T will be interested in Rum, but Chooch has to have beer....

Anyone able to fill in the blanks?

Mexican Beers? Dominican Beers? Domestics? Guatemalan? (Love that stuff with the rooster on the label)Caribe?

Thanks for the info in advance.

A beer is a Carib!!!!!

You'll also find plenty of Presidentes. But if Chooch is a creature of habit, rest assured you'll see your share of fellas knocking back Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite.

We really liked the VI Mango Pale Ale--even though I think it's brewed in Maine.

Isn't the Tap Room still open? That seems to be a good stop for most beer lovahs
*Another fine scatterbrained production
