Mini Trip report on the Cook Islands

Post by theshopper3 »

G'Day Mate's
Thought I would post a mini trip report of the first leg of our Aussie Adventure.

Well we survived our 3 flights to get here & the longest one wasn't all that bad, even though we were delayed by 2 hr because some idiot backed into the back of our plane...

How can you not see a plane???? Oh well.

We have had great weather for all but one day, it is a beautiful Island. Our alarm clocks are chickens that sound at 5:00AM.Much like STJ.

We've done alot of walking on the beach & even went down to see the sunrise. Have gone to a dinner show, with amazing dancers, to the local market yesterday & did some shopping.

Had a great dinner out last night. Today we are going to go on a lagoon cruise to snorkel & have lunch on a little Island.

The snorkelling is nothng like STJ, but they are just coming out of Huracane season so the water is all stired up :( Hope to see some things on our lagoon cruise today.

I miss my Woody's :(

Well all for now, gotta get to the beach.

So tomorrow we are off for the next leg of our Aussie adventure, will try to check in then.

Great to hear you are having a good time. Isn't Cook islands beautiful?

I hope you had a great tour in what I believe is Muri lagoon. It's the only place on Rarotonga where there are small islands. That's where I learned to snorkel, without being afraid and I was just lyrical afterwards.

I also hope you'll have a great time in Autsralia. I'm really jealous
