Where and what is Pelican Rock

I have read that Pelican Rock is a really good snorkle spot. I know its on the East End can anyone give me some good directions.

Take East End Road to the end. Just before the last little hill and the road to Sloop Jones is a little parking spot (you may need to turn around at the dumpster to figure it out). There are some rocks on the left that jut out as you snorkle out from the beach. That is Pelican. That whole beach to the left- which is Long Beach- is a great snorkle. If you have time, after snorkling Pelican, instead of coming back to shore on the far side, head toward the boats that are moored (lots of larg coral and Blue Chromis) and then head for the far corner. There is a great coral ledge along that side (lobster and spotted drum). And you can keep going out along that whole far side. Does that help?

Micky gives a nice description of what is pictured here in the lower right hand corner of the top image. As mentioned, come down that last hill to the right (up to the left is Sloop Jones) where that yellow line ends and park in that turn around area and walk between the bungalos there to the rocky shore. You can see Pelican Rock lies out from that point.
