a posting of high and low tides?

Post by John LMBZ06 »

I tried to Google it, but I can not find a schedule for the high and low tides.

Maybe posted in the local newspaper?

Try googling for a "tide calculator". All you'd have to do input in the location you want and it will bring it up. A nifty little program that comes in handy.

Thanks. I found one on the NOAA site. It has the tide calculated for Lameshure Bay.

The reason I ask is that I love Maho at low tide. There is a great shade tree there that you can sit under on the far west side with a limb that sticks out to hang your shirt on, etc. I know there is not that much of a tide difference, but at low tide there is good space there. I also like that fact that I can actually swim with the trees giving me shade in the water. 8)
