Speaking about mangos, Hugo, where is the best place on island in July to pick some nice ripe juicy delicious mangos?

Mangos will be early this year, starting before the end of May, hurray.
The trees are triggered into blooming by winter dry spells; they can flower any time between january and March, sometimes even in Sept. or October too, if it's not raining too much. The fruit take about 4 months to mature.
Really good mangos are closely guarded and traded for influence or affection on St. John, but you can find old roadside trees with very tasty, albeit stringy, fruit.
The little stand by Teri Gibney's driveway may be the only place to get a really local grafted fruit for sale, and those go quickly.
There are many roadside sellers on St. Thomas with really good regional mangos (some St. Thomas, some D.R.) in the summer. Almost worth going to St. Thomas for...

Couple of years ago we got some mangoes right at Donkey Diner from a tree that provides a shade for the tables on a back
