Bored? Take a virtual trip to Savannah....

Post by AnyTing »

It's a cold gray day here in Tennessee, so I finally wrote up something about a recent trip to Savannah, GA to bring a little sunshine into my day. Maybe it will bring a little sunshine into yours.

This was my first trip to Savannah and I was completely won over. Anyone in the southeast who wants a weekend getaway that you can drive to, I highly recommend it.

Bored? Was. Now? Jealous. Why? How well you feed your travel and photography Jones AND are able to write about it. Not fair!

Thank you for the report, Vicki. I don't know your civil job, but if you got tired of that, you could be a professional writer for a travel magazine!

Great photos of a favorite city...historic renovation there over the past 25-30 years has been dramatic (and city saving), in a large part because of the Savannah College of Art and Design locating there.
...so glad that you had such a great weekend there and that you shared it with such flair here...thanks

Another great trip report, thanks Vicki.

That's a great school Iprof. My, if I may say so, fantastically talented brother who is an architect in Franklin, Tennessee studied there. (Kenny C, feel free to PM me for his name and number if you or any of your friends need a cool design.) I was never able to visit him in Savannah but he just loved that city.
