Beautiful to see the signs of summers......

I didn't know how to add just a few, so hopefully this link works.

Great idea for a thread. Maybe I'll add some photos later today.

CG, the poppy photos are really wonderful. I'd love to see that sometime.

OMG... these pictures are soooooo good! good job forumites!

i was reading a gardening mag last night and already researched drought & shade tolerant flowering plants to add to the gardens this summer.

Lex, some years are better than others for the poppies. That was a pretty good year. :D The peak of the bloom only lasts a couple of weeks so you have to keep tabs on the State Park website to hit it at the right time.

Hey got my hands in the dirt here in NJ last weekend. Planted the loose leaf lettuce, Romaine, and spinich seeds under a row cover. That stuff does better in the cold weather, and when it starts to bolt in a couple months, will start replacing it with the zucchini. Nothing like baby greens from the garden in about 4-5 weeks.

Ahh, spring time in the Rockies, never boring!
Photo from Denver today.

Loria, Denmark is a flat country without very impressive nature experiences. But when we return from vacations in other countries, we also appreciate our "hyggelige" little country, and the Danes love to "hygge sig". It seems as if you know what "hyggelig" means :D :D An important word in Danish!

I really enjoy all the pics of flowers here, CG's Frangipani and all the others. Very beautiful!

Wow, all of those flowers are just gorgeous.

Not sure what the calendar or thermometer says, summer doesn't start for us until we get our annual Red's Eats Lobster Roll (Rte 1, Wiscasset, Maine)

That looks great. I've never been there. I had a warm lobster sandwich on North Caicos last month... I thought it was so much better than cold... ! They serve warm ones at Neptune Oyster in the North End, but I have not yet had one there.
