TGIF - OT Picture - I want spring and summer

Post by Maggy »

Happy Friday everyone. I'm sick of cold weather and thought we could maybe show some nice pictures of spring and summer.

These pictures are from my garden in July (don't ask me for the English name of the flowers  ). It's hard to imagine that it will look like this in just a few months.

Hi Maggy!

I'm too looking forward to spring and summer, but I have to admit that my flowers in the garden aren’t so beautiful as yours. But we have some nice rhododendron, and some of them already have big buds. Your terrace looks very “hyggelig”. Nice place to grill and drink :D ! Thank you for the pics and have a nice weekend.

I know, they are beautiful. It's my favorite perennial flower and the latin name is Astrantia major.

Thank you!

jmq, I really like your fist picture as well. It looks like a motive from one of those 1000 pcs puzzle.

liamsaunt, those "summer in Boston" images really pull at my heartstrings; and, sign me up for the next picnic...looks right out of barefoot contessa or martha! Food, flowers, music...a rich life...captured in your photos...wonderful.

I loved living in Boston...
