I was never a big cartoon girl but I have seen every single episode (I know I have because I own the box sets) of Wonder Woman, Laverne & Shirley, and Happy Days!!!

I even had a pair of Wonder Woman Underoos for each day of the week

XOXO

I always loved Foghorn Leghorn and the Chicken Hawk. Foghorn's best line..."That boy is about as sharp as a bowling ball". Also loved Michigan J. Frog.
And the Abominable Snow Rabbit:

My favorite cartoon as a very young child was Mr Magoo. I liked Captain Kangaroo, but that wasn't a cartoon.
My sisters would watch HR Puff-n-Stuff and maybe I was a bit old for it but I liked it.
I liked Gilligan's Island and Family Affair and when I was a little older I liked the Sonny and Cher show.

Did I date myself?

As a youngun' I watched Bozo's Circus during lunch time on school days. Don't know why, but those clowns never seemed creepy like alot of others do. This might be just a Chicago thing, but Bozo's Circus was pretty popular here. My parents sent in for tickets, which took years to get. Then we finally got some and I was sick. I was about 6 or 7; my sister got to bring a friend and I was stuck at home. :(

Years later I met the then-current Bozo when I was in charge of the Halloween event at Lincoln Park Zoo. He was high maintenance! He wouldn't ride in the parade because it was raining a little. "This is yak hair! Very expensive!"

Bozo the High Maintenance Clown...who knew?
In the Philly area we had Happy The Clown. Happy was an alcoholic and they had a sliding board on the set. He would joyfully push the kids down the slide. Well, one day Happy must have had a wicked hangover because a kid started to cry at the top of the slide and Happy gave him a shove and yelled (on camera), "Shut the hell up and get down there you little bastard"...Right after that he hung up his clown shoes and we never saw him again..

OMG! Nothing worse than a pi$$ed off, hungover clown! There was a story when I was a kid about one of the kids who got picked from the live audience to play the Grand Prize Game. He got mad at Bozo and said "Cram it clown!" That might be surburban legend, but we lived in the hope of witnessing something similar when we watched.
