brainwashed....
As you may know, I've brainwashed my children about S.T.J. Yes, I'm sure your guilty as well...Well just about a week ago Tyler age 11 brought home a school project. He was to do a report on a national park. Guess what he picked??? Big Horn National Monument!!
I told him that this justwon't stand in our house! I asked if he had a choice and he said yes but S.T.J. wasn't listed. Well I told him to march back to school and see if he could get our favorite island. It all work out and so far he has been givin a A+ on the written report.
Soon he will have to do a "Wax Museum". This is where the child stands onstage with a fake button in front of them. If you press the button he talks for 30 seconds about the park. His costume will be a snorkeler complete with fins and mask.I'll let you know how he does!Parafins

My kids are brainwashed too. My 16 yr. old just got back from Greece and all she could talk about is how the Med. is not as pretty as the Caribbean and the beaches along the coast are not as nice as STJ. I can't believe how many of her scenery photos look a lot like STJ, just not quite as pretty.
Of course Greece has a LOT of that old stuff.
She said it all starts to look alike after a few days.
I should have just planned another trip to STJ and skipped Greece.
I remember the Wax Museum in Jr. High. It was so cute. I'm glad your little guy got to be a snorkler.

AH, If you ever visit Edwardsburg let me know and I'll buy you a beer or softdrink at Lunker's. Lunker's is a very BIG baitshop, ect. I alway's like to chat with folks that like S.T.J.!AH wrote:parafins,
Boy your just brought back memories. Our sons did reports about STJ when they were little guys after their first trip. Love the picture of your son.
Your line about marching back to school just cracked me up. Sounds like something I would have said.![]()

Love it. Our school did the wax museum thing and it was wonderful...if you are a teacher it is a sure crowd pleaser. Our history teacher did it & the kisd were dressed/talked like famous people in history. Every time the bell rang they talked until the bell rang again, stopped & then stood perfectly still..get the idea?
