Best Pizza Cruz Bay

Post by jgf711 »

Coming to the island next month. At least one night my wife and I like to watch the sunset, drink a bottle or two of wine and have a good pizza.

What is your favorite pizza place in the Cruz Bay area?

Thanks,

Joe

Is there any good pizza?

I'd bet Roma's perhaps but I have no idea so I'll just wait for those that know.

Considered making one yourself?

Ronnie's makes a good pizza but he doesn't have a seat for a sunset. In fact, don't let the construction keep you from going there.

Had some excellent pizzas from cafe roma in January, the Eggplant Parm Pizza was fabulous with riccotta cheese, fried eggplant, red sauce and parm, provolone and mozzerella cheeses, Meat lovers was excellent, and the white vegetarian with fresh garlic and roasted garlic. Yum!

I love Cafe Roma but I always go to Donkey Diner....
I am not sure since changing owners if they have someone different making the pizza....
There is really not a deck to sit on at Roma but you could sit by the window and get a view of the sunset...
You could just buy yourself a pie and some wine and some platic glasses and head to the N. Shore to Maho or somewhere to eat and watch the sunset....jmo

There's no $ sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know

Ronnie's Pizza, hands down. I love the white pizza with artichokes. Yum. Plus if you're staying on the Cruz Bay side of the island, they deliver. So just sit on your deck, sip your wine, watch the sunset, and they'll deliver dinner right to you. Nice way to spend an evening... :D

He only delivers when he has someone to drive. When we were there in February, he wasn't doing delivery. We just picked up and took back to our villa. Had hoped to try Cafe Roma's because their pies sounded delicious but they had a water problem that day. Ronnie's was quite good.

We did the same thing. Called in the order, swung by 25 minutes later and enjoyed pizza and beer watching the sunset at the homestead.

Haven't tried Cafe Roma, but Ronnie's is perfectly acceptable pizza - and this is coming from an admitted NY pizza snob.

We were there at the end of Feb and we had Ronnie's delivery to us at Maria Villa after a full day excursion to the BVI. Everyone enjoyed it and the clean up was a breeze.

I guess I didn't do a very good job explaining. We are staying in a villa near chocolate hole and would pick up or have the pizza delivered then sit on the deck and have pizza and wine.

Thanks for all the great responses.

Can't wait to get there!!

You have inspired me! We've been many times and never thought of doing the pizza, wine and Maho combination! How incredible! :D
