FYI "The Mgmt." - c'est moi!

Post by Anthony »

Hi all - just to make sure everyone knows - the user the "The Mgmt." is my account. I made a new separate account so me, my wife, and in the events of vacations (rare!) or illnesses or other times when I am away from the computer (say - for sleep!), someone else can "moderate" the forum, and it doesn't become an issue of personality, etc.

Also - just to be clear - this is really just semantics. A "moderator" in this system can only delete, lock, unlock, or move posts and/or threads. They can not look into your account info, delete a user, see your PMs, or anything else like that. In fact the only thing we really do with the "moderator" account is remove spam.

So that is it - no worries! I am still here, I will get all PMs to "The Mgmt." and or you can just PM me at my account, Anthony. If people feel better, I can return my personal account, Anthony, as moderator also, but again, this is just semantics. Spammers seem to be getting more and more aggressive, I am just going to be able to get a little more help with this now, and it is something I have wanted to do and should have done years ago.

Thanks - The Mgmt. :)

Groovy, man.
Thanks for the info.
I've personally never tried spam, but am open to new things...

Thanks for the explanation Anthony; for a while I wasn't sure who might show up there...and thanks for all the work keeping this site growing so nicely. :)
