One more question---What about a GPS?? on St. Thomas
One more question---What about a GPS?? on St. Thomas
Getting down to hours now, but I remember the car rental guy asking if we needed a GPS. I told him no, that we would bring one from home.
My husband thinks maybe it would be more of a hassle since it is such a high theft item.
Is it pretty easy to get around in St. Thomas? Maybe we should just forget it and leave it home. I just know how frustrating it can be when you're in unfamiliar territory.
Leaving in the morning, and looking forward to a relaxing week in the sun!
Thanks!

You know, that is a good idea. Just because we usually use the bracket and place it on the windshield, doesn't mean we can't just take it off and slip it in my purse or pocket.
As you mentioned, I like the reassurance of having it. It got us "unstuck" in a big way in Chicago recently,(in a not so great neighborhood!) and we even had MapQuest printed out, and still made a wrong turn somewhere.
Thanks for the thought. And you guys have a great time when you go the week after us!
