Countdown Check
This was interesting reading....I am sooooo ready for my 14 days on island in whatever my ticker says is when we will be there. I think it is 46 or 47 days. When bevm says its time to go....WE GO. I am practicing bending my elbow right now after a Nickelback/Seether concert.
Sooooo...CG, Syd, Kellee since Jorge is not going got any room for us on your CAT.....that would be me and the wife....the one with the cherry up her nose?

We're at the point where there's too much to do in the short time left... time drags and drags and then -you're 5 days out with a sick child, husband who hasn't had a day off since January 24th, trying to work from home, projects looming, house torn up due to painter.
No packing done, no chance to shop for some last minute needs - flip flops and shorts - throwing carry on only out the window becuase hubby, who will wear only bathing suits and t-shirts and tevas has said "I don't want to do carry-on" (thinking of Pete and Marcia here- not their attire while on island, but the why do carry on piece. With a 13 day trip and no w/d it makes sense for us)
not sure about taking a cooler because the child has 2 fencing tournament the day before departure that might keep us in Mass overnight before the flight...
I think it's time to take a breath and SIMPLIFY. Forget the cooler. Forget saving $2 on a box of cereal. I'll buy all the food I need on island, and, if they don't have it, I don't need it. I do still need to check a bag containing 88 bottles of Bull Frog sunscreen (think The Albinos go to St John)
excited, yes, but right now mostly stressing. I need a painkiller - it's got to be 5 O'clock somewhere

Sorry , but MAY and TOMORROW are not options. JUNE. It must be June.VickiH wrote:For me, it's anybody's guess at this point. I'm holding out for USAir FF miles supersaver rate, so I'll take what I get. I'm hoping to connect with my girls FF and Gromit, but I'm still doing a wait and see....May? June? Tomorrow? We'll see.....
