Love JoAnn's idea about the plates........why don't we....

Post by cypressgirl »

See what we can come up with for ideas for our own cars? We live in so many different states. we could do repeats. I like the ones with the letters and numbers all running together, unless I can't figure it out before the car is long gone. I want something obvious, so everyone knows right away what it is I'm referring to. Of course I want the plate holder too. Did I read somewhere a long time ago that they don't work on all makes of cars, or was that another of my crazy Ambian dreams? So let's get creative.......... :D

I actually have a vanity plate that says "STJ USVI". I tried to get "CRUZ BAY" but it was taken...my husband came up with the STJ USVI. A guy stopped me and asked if it stood for St John US Virgin Islands...I think people who have spent time on any of the Virgin Islands will know what it says...

Love this idea!
My husband & I spent some of last night trying to come up with a unique plate...
Here in Texas you are limited to 6 numbers/letters...so that took out STJ USVI that I wanted (piscesgirl..tried this one before I saw your idea but love it!!).
Anyway....still working on it.

I have "STJ LVRS" and it has attracted some attention - but most people don't get it. That is fine by me!

I have "STJ GRL" - I get lots of compliments, smiles and confusion. Often people think I mean the clothing line...Um, NO!

All I can say is....if you live in a state where literacy falls lower on the priority list than...say...Nascar or monster truck pulls....you too could end up with ST JUSVI.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm obviously in Texas too and when I came to the part where you actually fill in each space with a letter or number or dash, it gives about 7 or so. Did I miss something. I was kind of thinking.....MY-MAHO, or STJ-MAHO since Maho is my favorite beach at the moment. I'm also wondering if the 40. price is for 1 plate and you have to order 2 for the front and back? As you can see, I'm not used to taking care of plates.

cypressgirl....I thought the same thing. It gives you more than 6 'options'...but when we went to the next page it specifically states you can only have 6 letter/number combinations. I think the more than 6 thing is for spacing..or how you want it to look.

I was bummed to be limited to only 6 too. It lets out CRUZ BAY...STJ USVI...anything like that.

If you find out something different, please let me know! Also I don't know about the number of plates. My hubby was filling all that out & searching that out. I think he's gonna work on that tonight. If I find out anything different, I'll let you know.

You could do CRZ BAY

I wanted to get one, but Vicki stole ST JUSVI, and I haven't come up with anything else.

Virginia wouldn't let me get Ma Ho, but they'll let get Ma Beach.

I like Jorge's plates:

Hey, I swear I've seen that NEKKID plate here in Fredericksburg! It took me a few times to get my plate as every idea I tried already was taken, but mine's LUVSTJ.....I love to look in the rear view mirrow when cars come up behind me and watch them smile!
