I learned a hard lesson in Sept of 2007 when I brought my laptop to emerald Isle NC. Worst vacation of my life. I was working until midnight every night. Not fun.

I only have one real rule on vacation:

No obligations.

Vacation is the time to be as selfish as possible.

The "as possible" was added for those who have kids. You should not feel obligated to other adults on vaca. They are adults- let them deal with it.
