Name your own price villa :)

Post by Pia »

I know with all this talk of the "r" (not going to say that word) and villa owners needing to come down on price, I thought I would bring this to your attention as it might work for a few of you still on the fence so to speak about visitiing St John

I have not seen this property since it was purchased by the new owners but if you remember Erika (looking for a nice place to stay for her boyfriend on leave from Iraq) she gave it a fabulous review (see link)

Do know the owners live on property but it didn't appear to lessen their privacy - I do know the view is outstanding :)

Enjoy

Pia

I was EXTREMELY close to picking this house for my last trip but went with Sea Biscuit instead.

Now how do I swing another trip ... ;-)

I do remember when she was looking for a villa. I completely forgot about this place. We have a larger group so it wouldn't work for us this trip, but I am definitely keeping it in mind for future trips. It looks adorable.

I really like that place, and it's defintely going on the list for next time. Or maybe if we get more stragglers this year... don't want our cottage to get too crowded.

I've always liked the look of Coconut Hill and have talked to the owner twice. Dates never worked out in the past. This trip ( starting Saturday ) I've arranged to take a look at it while we're there.

These villa owners seem pretty smart to me to offer "name your own price" rates! Does anyone remember what it used to rent for on a regular basis?

I love the look of this villa! It was on our short list for villas for our Dec. trip. (Now I'm kinda second guessing myself for picking another one!) I think I started looking at a different one because the description gave me a better sense of the floor plan.

It looks like it has great views and would get some really nice breezes. Glad to hear such good recommendations for it.

It's pretty booked up. I would have gone if it was available for a week in Apr.

Not sure about this recession, all the villa's on my favorites file are booked until May/June.

Aaahhh, I was too efficient in booking early. Already have my reservation and contract with Coconut Hill for April.

Oh well. I guess we'll still have a good time, even at full price.
