The Joshie mystery?

Let the game begin:

He grew up in the Northeast.

His parents are attractive people. Physically for sure, but the kind of people everyone wants to know. Popular. Came from meager means. They both worked hard, good ethics and were very successful financially. Dad started with nothing, very smart, and became very successful. Kind of guy who would do well regardlessof the vocation. Business was his forte. Mom has a degree but decided it would be better to concentrate on her children; Joshie and his older sibling, probably a sister, who attends grad school currently. Most likely Ivy League.

Joshie was a standout athlete, probably wrestling or football, maybe tennis. Academically top of his class.

He begged his Dad to understand his desire to take a year or two off before college. Promises he will go, just not right now. Mom was very supportive, and Dad, of course, relented.

The family has traveled the Caribbean on various vacations. Joshie when young, new he would return to SJ… some day.

Most likely works on island, waiter/bartender, not two jobs like most, just one. Bananna Deck I think. Doesn’t need to, but it was part of the deal.

He studied the VIOL forum for a couple weeks, before…..jumping in. Loves the anonymity.

Likes to play the field, but tries to stay away from tourist chicks. Hasn’t always succeeded, but tries.

Had his heart broken in High School, longtime sweetheart.

Very talented young man. Kinda kid every mother sighs after.

His parents worry but know everything will work out, cause, they “know” Joshie.

p.s. Joshie isn’t the name he goes by, on island. Probably something Nana called him when young.

How many do I have right ?? Eh Josh?

Seriously...what the hell?

Here's what we have:
A relatively new member
He posts amazing pictures
He's amusing
He's taking the whole "Who is he and is he one of the 7 signs of the Apocalypse" thing quite well if you ask me (sock monkey avatar).
Is he looked at skeptically because he came along right when the Snark-Meter here was at 11?
Since when do all members need to post pictures of themselves and tell their life stories? Not everyone can be an attention-needy whore like me. (See my link below? See it? See it?)

Dave...I thought that was funny and probably fairly accurate on some points. We'll never know will we Joshie?? One thing's for sure. You've made the forum fun and one of the reasons I love being back, so keep it up you brussel sprout hating, sock monkey loving nut!!

I was prepared to not like Joshua but then he started posting AMAZING on island pictures. And that sock monkey mooning the spammer just won me over.

Life is too short. Obviously its a bit over the top at times, but I don't think any thing he's put out there is malicious!

Based on the FBI profile that started this thread, Josh if your parents own Hawksview Estate can you hook me up with a discount? Say 95% off?

I like looking at Joshie's amazing pictures. They look professional to me.

I really don't get what the big deal is. He is under no obligation to tell us anything about his offline identity. Maybe I am missing something?

He takes great pictures
He is literate, in both language and computer use
He has a sense of humor.

I don't care who Joshie really is. He takes good pictures, he makes me laugh and sometimes he holds up bottles of Mount Gay and Diet Coke at the Spice Cam.

But the real reason I'm posting is to let you all know that my name isn't really Lulu.

All I care is that Joshie posts great pics, often with entertaining or thought provoking text. If I didn't like his posts, I wouldn't read them.

(But a screen name of 'suburbanites' was just toooooooo dull.)
